This notebook was purposely created to support and empower youth as they navigate this distinctive stage of life. 

With a concise, light-hearted daily focus and intentional space for documenting experience, it is intended to bring insight and create healthy habits with ease. It encourages mindfulness towards one's thoughts, space and actions, unveiling progress that often gets unnoticed.  


There are 3 months worth of daily pages for you in this notebook. There is a small part in the morning and a small part in the evening. It could take less than 3 minutes a day to fill-in.

It is intentionally small (compact in size and page count) so individuals who are using it can see/feel progress quickly and easily. After the 3 months - they can look back, assess how the actions they took changed the way they feel and how they are living their life. 

The two sections on the daily page are as follows along with the instructions at the beginning of your notebook. It speaks directly to the youth using it. 

First is 3 simple, guided, check-box actions. 

TAKE A BREATH:

Breath is like fuel. Practicing taking an intentional breath in the morning will help set your nervous system - grounding you for the day. It’s a practice you can keep coming back to in your day if you are tired, stressed, annoyed etc.  Simple? Yes. Effective? Very.

IMAGINE:

Taking a second to imagine a feeling you want for the day is like looking at a map and telling your whole self where you want to go. It gives you direction. Once you set it - you can forget it.

SLEEP CHECK IN:

While you are sleeping - your body is doing important things like - repairing muscles, consolidating memories and releasing hormones that support your growth. Without sleep, it might be harder to concentrate, handle stress or make good decisions.

Assessing your sleep can help you make the connection between how things are going and where your system is at. You’ll also know when to take it easy on yourself if you haven’t had enough rest.

 

AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH PAGE:

CHECKLIST:

All of the small actions you take on this list have big impact on your experience in life. Science confirms that by doing these things you are setting a foundation of well-being for your mind and body. It might seem simple - but it matters.

You are asked - Did you...

Eat something healthy?

Go outside?

Drink water?

Improve your surroundings?

Show kindness to yourself?

Show kindness to another? 

(As a little side note - ‘Improve your surroundings’ is all about being intentionally aware of where you are. It could be hanging up a favorite picture on your wall, bringing in a stray water bottle from the car, making your bed or arranging your desk. Your space can be a reflection of your inner state - so take care of it. You deserve it)  

The last checkbox is left empty for you. If you want to set a personal goal or develop a habit that is meaningful in your life - that is where you put it.

Then...there is a space for you to - 

WRITE ANYTHING YOU WANT:

Sometimes its just nice to write things down. It doesn’t have to be anything fantastic - just a simple moment of reflection, honest thought, feeling or memory you want to capture. It is imporant to be able to look back on your journey some day and see where you were. You are a human and lots of emotions and experiences come with it. It’s a place to respect and acknowledge it all. And remember - You are making progress. And when you write it down...you can see it.

Lastly! This is your notebook. Use it how you like. Feel free to draw all over it, or add stickers to make it your own. Enjoy! This is your life.
